Since ancient times, when orange blossom adorned the wreaths of newlyweds, the passion for this white flower and its sweet smell has never wavered.
However, it was not until the 19th century that orange blossom was harvested in the south of France. At this time of year, between April and May, they are delicately picked by hand before being sent to the still.
In Morocco the season starts earlier and lasts longer. This is how this country has long been one of the world's leading producers of this versatile flower.
Orange blossom is found in pastries. In aromatherapy too. But it is mainly in perfumery and cosmetics that the qualities of orange blossom are appreciated.
